He said also to the one who had invited him, ‘When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbours, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid. All people are created in God’s image (Genesis 1:26) and all area invited to participate in God’s ministry (1 Corinthians 12:7). Jesus’ vision for the church is one in which all are invited and made to feel welcome. To that end, Capitol Hill is engaged in ongoing efforts to make our building and services accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

Designated Drop-Off Space
We encourage all of our guests and members coming to Capitol Hill to utilize the designated droff-off space on Massachusetts Avenue, in front of the church. Our Deacons are ready to provide directions and any assistance needed.
Mobility and Wheelchair Accessibility
Can’t handle steps? On the front South side (to the left of our main front door), the church is equipped with an exterior lift for wheelchair access to the sanctuary and 1st level restrooms. An interior lift, providing access to the lower level fellowship hall and classrooms is also available. Inside the Sanctuary provisions are made for wheel chair and companion seating at the front side of the sanctuary. The pews are padded for your comfort. Those finding it difficult to sit in pews may find one of the padded armchairs more comfortable. Deacons, Ushers and Greeters are available before, throughout and after services to assist.
Restrooms on all levels are handicap accessible.
Large print Bibles are available are available for your convenience, upon request. Please ask a Greeter or Usher for assistance.
Worshiping with your infant or toddler
Our Parents Room is located on the right side of the Sanctuary. Later in 2013, the Parents Room will be relocated where you will be able to relax with your child while you worship with the congregation via closed circuit television. The room will accommodate your busy toddler, providing space and Christian, age-appropriate materials (books, videos, puppets, etc.).
Wheat and Gluten Free Communion Bread
Capitol Hill serves only gluten free/dairy free bread for its Communion services.
